Dr. Matt Helfrich Jr. O.D.

Dr. Helfrich Jr. graduated from The Ohio State University of Optometry in 2009. From there he worked with the Ohio Veterans. In 2009, he teamed with his father at Matt Helfrich O.D. Inc. Dr. Helfrich Jr. has volunteered his time and services at school screenings. He specializes in treating adults and children of all ages along with dry eye treatment, diabetic eye exams, and custom-fit contact lenses. In his spare time he enjoys playing ice hockey, going to car shows, snow skiing, and spending time with his wife and children.

Dr. Helfrich Sr. graduated from The Ohio State University of Optometry in 1983. He has been serving the Elyria community and surrounding areas for over forty years. He specializes in treating adults and children of all ages. He has spent many hours volunteering at health fairs, local school vision screenings, and food pantries. He loves spending time with his grandchildren, golfing, and being outdoors.
